Education Cabinet Secretary Migos Ogamba has announced changes in the leadership of several public universities.
In a September 5 gazette notice, Ogamba appointed Rosebella Namango as a member of the Council of Kenyatta University for a three-year term. He has, however, revoled the appointments of Alice Waruguru Muita and Ibrahim Abdi Mude on the KU council but moved them elsewhere.
Muita will now serve as a member of the Council of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, while Mude has been appointed to the Council of Machakos University, both for a three-year term.
The CS also appointed Amos Okello as a member of the Council of Egerton University and Bomet University College. In addition, Razoah Vitisia was named to the Councils of both the University of Eldoret and Tom Mboya University, while Issa Mohamed Ahmed was taken to Tharaka University.
Ogamba reappointed Nashon Nyona to continue serving as a member of the Council of Taita Taveta University.
