ONLY GOD AND A-PLAIN CREATE

We are A Plain magazine. As the name suggests, we are trademark registered as ‘education & professions magazine’. Our mission is to grow excellence for growth. All round growth.

We are not here for the usual news reporting; we are here to tell the world about the power of education, those who are excelling and how they are making the world better. A Plain magazine will look for excellence stories from kindergartens to universities and at the workplace to, we repeat, grow excellence for growth. Because, we believe, only God and A-Plain action can create.

Reading A Plain should, therefore, remind everyone to take part in the difficult job of delivering growth for everyone. It feels great being an A-student. But the difficult part is how to lead an A-Plain life.

Taking care of your world. Your neighbour’s. And the globe. While every community, every constituency, every learner is excited by the mention of A-Plain scores in school, the world is eerily desperate for people who can turn the so-called stellar performance in school into solving problems.

We believe the world is starved of A-performance that critically scans the environment for problems and creates solutions. These solutions could be care, technology, design, clear communication, mentorship, selflessness, completeness, independence of thought, respect, encouragement, order, and jobs. And jobs, we repeat.
Who can create something from the list above and more? Who can create jobs? We repeat it’s only God and A-Plain performers who can create. That solving problems is so intricate it requires above-normal commitment.

Through this medium, we are launching journalism of demonstrable excellence. Through our writing as an independent media organisation, we will challenge ourselves to challenge the A-Plain-mad people to prove that they own the summit of the pyramid; that their rosy school grades go past waving degrees and certificates while the environment is increasingly inhabitable: corruption is neck-deep.  Rot is all over but the educated see no wrong. They are quiet and half-hearted. Ouch!

A Plain, the magazine, is asking: Where are those who scored A-Plain in school at a time corruption is rationing air and breath for man, flora, and fauna? Why are those holding diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, master’s, PhDs and professorships this helpless like the rest? Where’s hope from those who are expected to know better? Why are they not offering solutions? Not creating jobs? Not concerned? Why are they this resigned and tame? Who should facilitate them to create solutions? Is it the government? Or the corporations?

The educated or professionals are the go-to folks who are expected to know better, especially on their specialisation.
